The quest for the perfect almond
Almond has always inhabited the soul of our creations. It slips into Once Upon a Christmas, it invites itself into Close to You, it illuminates Apple & Orange... And yet, for a long time, it had no dedicated setting, no place to reign alone in majesty.
It took a request, a whispered wish from a loyal customer, whose apartment overlooked our boutique on Boulevard Malesherbes. A rare request called for an exceptional quest.
We then set off on the roads, in search of the ideal almond. Far from distant lands, we wanted a European origin, a terroir with sincere accents. Spain, Portugal, Italy... so many promises glimpsed, before Corsica, the leading almond producer in France, came to captivate our hearts. In the orchards of Balagne, between sea and mountains, the almond flourishes under a generous climate. It was there, under these changing skies, that we found our jewel.
All that remained was to honor it, to offer it a setting worthy of it. In the secret of the workshop, the aromatician sought the balance, the right note where almond and black tea would harmonize in a subtle dance. The tannic power of tea, the smooth tenderness of almond: in the cup, an alchemy is revealed, round and silky, caressing the palate like a precious fabric. Our Black Almond tea was born.
