The quest for the perfect almond

Almonds have always been at the heart of our creations. They slip into Once Upon a Christmas, they invite themselves into Tout Contre Toi, they illuminate Pomme d'Orange… And yet, for a long time, they had no dedicated setting, no place to reign alone in majesty.

It took a request, a whispered wish from a loyal customer whose apartment overlooked our boutique on Boulevard Malesherbes. A rare request called for an exceptional quest.

So we hit the road, searching for the perfect almond. Far from distant lands, we wanted a European origin, a terroir with sincere accents. Spain, Portugal, Italy… so many promises glimpsed, before Corsica, the leading almond producer in France, came to captivate our hearts. In the orchards of Balagne, between sea and mountains, almonds flourish in a generous climate. It is there, under these changing skies, that we found our jewel.

All that remained was to honor it, to offer it a fitting setting. In the secrecy of the workshop, the flavorist sought balance, the perfect note where almond and black tea would blend in a subtle dance. The tannic power of the tea, the suave tenderness of the almond: in the cup, an alchemy is revealed, round and silky, caressing the palate like a precious fabric. Our Almond black tea was born.

Le thé noir Amande révèle toute sa richesse lorsqu’il accompagne des douceurs aux textures fondantes et aux arômes subtils. Il s’accorde parfaitement à une part de gâteau financier, à une crème à la vanille ou à une poire pochée aux éclats de fruits secs. Une fine galette à la frangipane, une madeleine à l’huile d’olive douce, ou même un morceau de nougat tendre subliment sa personnalité feutrée. Chaque accord vient enrichir le dialogue entre le velouté du thé noir et la noblesse discrète de l’amande, pour une dégustation tout en finesse.

Recettes et cocktails à base de thé noir Amande
En version glacée, le thé noir Amande se révèle étonnamment gourmand. Infusé à froid, puis légèrement sucré et allongé de lait d’amande ou de lait entier, il devient une boisson onctueuse et désaltérante, idéale pour un goûter raffiné. Pour une création plus audacieuse, on le marie à une liqueur d’Amaretto, un soupçon de sirop d’orgeat, et un trait de crème liquide légèrement montée. Servi sur glace pilée, dans un verre bas, ce cocktail évoque les parfums d’une pâtisserie fine et les soirs d’automne dans une maison chaleureuse.
