The honeybush is a plant coming from South Africa that is brewed to obtain a theine-free liquor reknown for its antioxidant properties. It eliminates free radicals on cells, thus having an anti-aging action.

It is here our very first honeybush, we wanted it both sweet and very gourmet. The delicate taste of almond and pistachio makes of it a compelling beverage.

Childhood memory and infused tribute
It was in Montélimar, during family breaks, that Andrea, our infusion creator, rediscovered nougat: this tender white, pearly square, dotted with pistachios and almonds, with hints of melted honey. From this luminous memory was born Rooibos Nougat, conceived as a faithful, but lighter, evocation of the famous confectionery. Andrea has retained its most emblematic notes, sweet almond, delicate pistachio, and a touch of honey, to make them resonate in a sunny infusion, without sugar or theine. A sweet treat to drink, at any time, like an authorized treat.



What plants tell us about childhood
Rooibos, naturally caffeine-free, is the ideal infusion for little ones. Smooth, rounded, and without bitterness, it soothes stomachs and is a great accompaniment to snacks without overstimulating or disrupting sleep. Rich in antioxidants and low in tannins, it is easily digestible and can be served warm or cold, plain or lightly flavored. A caring drink from South Africa, shared with family as a soothing and tender herbal tea.


Rooibos and food pairings
Rooibos Nougat reveals its full richness when paired with dried fruit sweets: melting almonds, soft pistachios, shortbread biscuits, light baklavas. It also pairs wonderfully with dairy desserts, such as caramel rice pudding.
More unexpected, but just as seductive: it creates a beautiful harmony with cheeses, especially blue cheeses. The smooth roundness of the infusion then marries the saline and mineral notes of blue cheeses from central France, in a pairing full of contrast and subtlety.



Recipes and cocktails using Rooibos Nougat
Infused hot in almond or oat milk, it becomes a creamy base for a nougat latte, to be enjoyed by the fire. Iced, it reveals a fresher side, ideal for accompanying pistachio ice cream or honey sorbet.
A perfect base also for a liquid dessert: mixed with some soaked dried fruits, and served in a glass like a light cream to drink... or to savor with a spoon.
