Following the success of our Blue Mountain on a black tea base, it seemed natural to offer a more summery variation, while preserving its unique aromatic identity.
A fresh reinterpretation
It was in the heart of the Blue Mountains, Australia, that Didier, the House's passionate creator, found inspiration for the black Blue Mountain. A gourmet stop at the Candy Store in Leura, a small town nestled on the mountainside, was the starting point for this flavorful creation.
When we decided to offer a green tea version, the surprise was immediate. The ingredients remained the same, and yet... The green base transformed the whole: livelier, more refreshing, almost insolently fresh. A striking contrast to the black version, which was rounder and more indulgent.
During the blind tastings conducted by our flavorists, the majority of participants did not guess that Green Blue Mountain and Black Blue Mountain were siblings... proof, if any were needed, that the choice of tea changes everything.
