Darjeeling Arya First Flush 2024

Originating from a plantation existing since 1865, extending over 123 hectares and located at an altitude of 1600 m; this exceptional tea means "respectable" or even "monk" (translation of Arya)... and for good reason, it was Buddhist monks who began to develop this garden in 1763. Since then, picking has only been manual, it requires 10 pickers for 1 kilo of tea. This picking, carried out between 5 a.m. and 5:30 a.m. to still have the dew on the leaves... is just one detail among all those that make this tea an exceptional tea... In the cup we find the very typical taste of this garden with notes of jasmine enveloping the palate in a silky and delicate way.
