- Black tea flavoured with bergamot and flowers -

The great classic China tea flavoured with bergamot from Calabria, sprinkled with cornflowers petals, adding their bluish colour to this tea. A flowery Earl Grey.

  • Calabrian bergamot, cornflower petals

A refuge in the colors of sky and petals

This enchanting blend is a favoriteby Cecilia Ashford, a sensitive soul and passionate about flowers and wife of George, whose family has been customers of the shop for generations.

It's on therooftops of Paris, between the Haussmannian chimneys and the zinc gutters, that Cécilia created her refuge. There, in thishilltop gardenwhere irises raise their violet swords towards the changing sky, where peonies unfurl their generous corollas like crumpled ball gowns, she cultivates much more than flowers: she cultivatesthe art of dreaming.

Every afternoon, Cécilia settles into hersmall glass greenhouse, a transparent refuge nestled in the heart of its suspended Garden of Eden.Under the glass roof with tin uprightswhere the dewdrops pearl, between thestonewarecarefully aligned and theseed packetslabeled with her delicate hand, she savors her cup of Earl Grey Flowery whilethe rustling of the wind in the leavesaccompanies his daydreams.

Tea and food pairings
Our Earl Grey Flowery is best enjoyed with a soft almond financier, where the sweetness blends with the finesse of the tea like a sweet accord of English paradise. Or with an orange blossom madeleine, whose delicate notes resonate with cornflower petals, awakening a nostalgia for spring. A simple lemon curd shortbread, crumbly and fragrant, reveals all the poetry of the infusion, as if the simplicity of refined pleasures allowed the tea to sing its own floral melody.

Tea-based cocktail
When the weather warms up, this delicate infusion becomes the soul of a non-alcoholic cocktail, as graceful as a country bouquet. Simply let the tea cool, then combine it with a dash of white grape juice, a few drops of freshly squeezed lemon, and a drop of elderflower syrup. The whole thing is poured over a bed of ice, before being topped with edible flowers, pansies, cornflowers, or violets, which float like fragrant memories.
