- Green tea flavoured with bergamot -

This green tea is dedicated to the lovers of Earl Grey and green teas, who will find their two passions in this blend. An original, subtle taste.

  • Bergamot

A name that whispers Italy

The name Bergame was not chosen at random. While the exact origin of bergamot remains shrouded in mystery, its name has always evoked the Lombard city of Bergamo, perched between sky and hills in northern Italy.
It was from there, according to some sources, that bergamot essence was first marketed in Europe in the 17th century. Other, more oriental accounts suggest that it crossed the Mediterranean from Andalusian gardens or Anatolian markets before flourishing fully in Calabria, where the cultivation is of the highest quality.
In any case, Bergame remains a mythical name: it evokes the Italy of noble terraced gardens, perfumed fans, and elite perfumers. A name that speaks of refinement, clarity, and that touch of mystery unique to rare things.

A modern tea, inspired by yesterday

With Bergame, we rediscover the spirit of an Earl Grey... but in a lighter, more modern guise.
• In London, it could be served in a light-filled conservatory, in the heart of a hotel in the Belgravia district;
• In Florence, in a shaded palace, accompanied by a Panforte;
• In Paris, in a refined salon, with a citrus Saint-Honoré or an Opéra.

Tea and Food Pairings

At tea time, it can be enjoyed plain, or with a lemon financier, a green tea madeleine, or even a kumquat jam on a thin slice of brioche. It is also sublime iced: cold-infused for a few hours with citrus zest, it becomes the perfect drink for bright afternoons, elegant, refreshing, deceptively simple.

Recipes and cocktails with tea

To extend this freshness to your plate, prepare a summer fruit salad topped with a light Bergame tea syrup: mix pink grapefruit segments, diced mango, pomegranate seeds and fresh mint leaves, then drizzle with a green Bergame tea-infused syrup. This light and elegant dessert reveals all the aromatic delicacy of the tea, like a fruity poem to be enjoyed in the shade of lemon trees.
