- Green tea with notes of melon -

This green tea is a creation coming from the garden of Saint Paul de Vence. It offers a beautiful mix of green tea and verbena with a hint of melon that grew the sun.

Can be also enjoyed iced or in a granita.

  • Verbena, melon

The inspiration of a solar fruit

In the large family of summer teas, melon is rarely invited... and this is precisely what makes Thé du Jardin so charming, as unexpected as it is delicious. A unique infusion, born from a memory, a scent, a summer treat.

Flavors and aromas of Provence

It's in Saint-Paul-de-Vence, perched between sky and scrubland, that our flavorist Didier likes to stay in the early days of summer. There, the warm season has its own tempo: the air is slow and dense, laden with verbena drying behind the shutters, ripe melon resting on windowsills, and stones warmed by the sun.
A lover of artisanal ice cream, Didier regularly visits a small, private ice cream shop tucked away between two honey-colored facades. It was there, one scorching afternoon, that he discovered a strikingly elegant melon and verbena ice cream.
This duo suddenly seemed obvious to him. He found in it all the best things about summer: the sweetness of sun-drenched fruits, the vegetal vivacity of fresh herbs.
Creating a tea that captures this sensation then becomes obvious. And it is in the hushed calm of his Parisian workshop, a few days later, that Thé du Jardin is born, a tribute to the flavors of his summer.

Tea and food pairings

Thé du Jardin is the perfect accompaniment to a thin melon tart, a verbena panna cotta, or lemon blossom biscuits. It also gracefully pairs with a yellow fruit salad or an iced dessert made with almond milk and lime zest. Its natural vegetal character and fruity touch allow for simple yet subtle pairings.

Recipes using green tea from the Garden

Cold brewed, Thé du Jardin is a refreshing and clear drink. In a granita version, it reveals a crystalline texture, ideal for hot afternoons. Simply infuse the tea, sweeten it lightly, then freeze it by fluffing it with a fork. For a more festive version, imagine a frosted glass, a few drops of white melon liqueur, a squeeze of lime for liveliness, and a splash of prosecco to add sparkle. A few fresh verbena leaves, a lemon zest rolled like a ribbon... and you have a cocktail as delicate to look at as it is to savor.
