- Green tea flavoured with orange -
The essential oil of sweet orange combines with a China green tea like an invitation to visit the orange grove: a walk full of gustative surprises.
- Orange
Searching for the ideal orange
In the world of tea, orange is often treated with fanfare. Sometimes too intense, too sweet, too artificial. We, on the other hand, wanted the most subtle version possible: one that evokes sun-warmed skin, zest brushed with fingertips, the sweetness of a still-warm fruit picked directly from the orange tree.
It was in the fertile plain of Capua, north of Naples, that we found our gem. This region, bordered by the ancient ruins of Campania and caressed by Tyrrhenian winds, is home to some of Italy's most renowned citrus groves. Here, the sweet orange (Citrus sinensis) benefits from a rich volcanic soil, cool nights, and generous sunshine, giving it exceptional aromatic intensity.
An orange diamond
We chose the Domaine di San Felice, a small family orchard nestled between ancient olive trees and laurel hedges, where sweet oranges have been cultivated for four generations. Harvested at perfect ripeness, its peel is processed using the ancient cold-press method: no heating, no solvents, just a delicate pressure that preserves the full complexity of its essential oil. It is this fresh and vibrant essence that we have married with our green tea to create a pure, natural, and unadulterated blend. A harmony that is both subtle and profound, like the murmur of an orange grove at dawn.
Tea and Food Pairing
Orangeraie lends itself to delicate gourmet pairings. It enhances a citrus tart, an almond financier, or a lightly vanilla-flavored dairy dessert. It can also be used in cooking, infused in a sugar syrup to flavor a baba, or incorporated into a yellow fruit compote to enhance its freshness. Its zesty sweetness brings brightness and lightness to all compositions.
Recipes and Cocktails with Orangeraie Tea
A non-alcoholic cocktail that celebrates the natural radiance of orange and the freshness of tea.
Preparation:
• Infuse 4 spoonfuls of Orangeraie tea in 60 cl of room temperature water for 5 hours.
• Filter, then add 6 cl of fresh orange juice, the juice of half a yellow lemon, a spoonful of orange blossom honey, and a sprig of rosemary.
• Serve well chilled with ice cubes and a thin slice of candied orange.

The Betjeman & Barton soul supplement
Orangeraie is not a tea that impresses, it is a tea that touches. It speaks quietly, but for a long time. It whispers the elegance of simple things, the poetry of a freshly picked fruit, the light of a clear morning. It is an ode to delicacy, to discreet beauty, to quiet joy.
