- Green tea with a strong flavour of jasmine -
This green tea comes from the Guangdong Province (Southern China). This tea is hand-processed and picked, then dried in the sun. The addition of fresh flowers and their elimination, are repeated a number of times, to reach a top quality in taste and aroma. A real jasmine “ Lord”.
- High quality jasmine
The pinnacle of an art
This rare tea is produced in certified organic gardens, where ancestral practices are perpetuated with the precision of a goldsmith. The leaves are hand-picked, then blended for several nights in a row with fresh jasmine flowers. Each cycle, the flowers are then removed, a patient gesture, repeated until the right intensity of the fragrance is permeated without ever becoming saturated.
Drying in the sun on large bamboo mats completes this slow work. No mechanical drying. Nothing but daylight, air, and time.
Money and the Sickle
His name,Silver Sickle, the silver sickle, evokes much more than a simple ancestral tool. It whispers the grace of movement, that of the picker in the early morning, when the silver mist still caresses the peaks of Guangdong. It also recalls the curve of a crescent moon, fine and sparkling, suspended above the jasmine fields. This name, almost mystical, pays homage to the delicacy of the craftsmanship, the luminous purity of the liquor, and the almost celestial brilliance of the leaves dotted with white tips, downy as silk. A sickle, not for mowing, but for chiseling perfection.
An elixir for the soul
Silver Sickle Jasmine is not a tea for accompaniment. It is a tea for the moment. It calls for soft light, fine china, a quiet room. It is savored alone, or in the presence of a chosen soul, in the slowness of a summer morning or the sweetness of a peaceful evening.
Tea and food pairings
With its crystalline freshness, elegant minerality, and airy jasmine, Silver Sickle Jasmine lends itself to culinary combinations that play on lightness, subtlety, and silky textures. It will complement both refined sweet dishes and delicate savory creations.
On the sweet side, we are thinking of a thin lime and basil tartlet, almond powder and yuzu zest biscuits, iced choux buns with light jasmine cream or even a muscat grape sorbet, with a few fresh verbena leaves...
On the savory side, we recommend a scallop tartare with mild olive oil and Timut pepper, a sea bass or sea bream carpaccio with kumquat zest and pomegranate seeds, spring rolls with fine herbs, green mango and shrimp or a cold pea velouté with fresh mint, enhanced with a drizzle of coconut cream.
These pairings work because Silver Sickle Jasmine has a floral scent that doesn't overpower, and a mineral base that pairs beautifully with the pure, unsaturated flavors.
