In the large family of Christmas teas, Luxury undoubtedly takes the prize for sophistication. While for some, Christmas evokes cinnamon and candied fruit, for others, this magical holiday is better suited to rare, precious, and timeless flavors. Luxury is one such tea.

A precious gathering for an exceptional tea

It all begins in the heart of a Parisian apartment, bathed in the soft light of a winter evening. Andrea, our tea creator, meets up with some long-time friends, companions of adventures and gastronomic delights, for a refined dinner where each, as is their tradition, brings back treasures gathered during their travels. At the end of the meal, in the cozy intimacy of the living room, gifts are exchanged with joyful solemnity.

Among them, two wonders deeply touch Andrea: a bottle of amber maple syrup from Maison Clair de Forêt, harvested in a historic maple grove in the Laurentians, whose warm and enveloping aromas immediately fill the room; and a box of candied chestnuts from Baratti & Milano, a mythical confectioner from Turin, where each chestnut, soft and subtly pearly, seems to contain centuries of savoir-faire and patience.

Andrea smiles. As he inhales the woody sweetness of the syrup, closing his eyes to the melting tenderness of a candied chestnut, the obvious becomes clear: he must capture the essence of these treasures in a tea, like in a precious jewel box. This is how Luxury was born, his personal tribute to the discreet little luxuries he savors, as a connoisseur, whenever the opportunity arises.

Tea and food pairings
On the sweet side, it pairs wonderfully with dried fruit desserts: hazelnut financiers, almond cake, or pecan tarts. Its smooth character also enhances sweets made with maple syrup and candied chestnuts.

On the savory side, Luxury unfolds all its magic: it magnifies a few shavings of aged parmesan, barely warmed to reveal its milky richness; it delicately envelops a foie gras toast with armagnac; and it perfectly accompanies poultry with chestnuts, where its woody notes mingle with the sweetness of the dish.

Tea-based recipes and cocktails
Luxury dares to cross the threshold of the bar, mingling with a sophisticated cocktail: brut champagne, chestnut liqueur and a concentrated infusion of Luxury together create a festive, velvety and intoxicating coupe: a final nod to the art of combining elegance and pleasure.
