- Black tea flavoured with five aromas -

Blend of China and Ceylon tea flavoured with vanilla, strawberry, raspberry, cherry and caramel. We needed at least five flavours to evoke the splendours of Mauritius. A surprisingly tasty blend.

Allergen : caramel

A story with the scent of paradise
Our Saint Géran doesn't owe its name to a forgotten legend, but to a vivid memory. During a trip to Mauritius, Didier, one of our leaders, embarked on a boat tour of the islands, sailing along turquoise lagoons, sugary coasts, and fragrant shores. On board, he accidentally discovered the story of the ship Saint Géran, which ran aground off the island in the 18th century. But it wasn't the tragedy that left its mark on him: it was the light, the abundance, and the grace of the landscapes he crossed.

Each stopover was a sensory revelation. In the markets, red fruits overflowed with juice, warm spices floated in the air, and vanilla seemed to grow everywhere, natural, sovereign. On the skin, salt, and sugar. In the air, the scent of caramelized brown sugar, tropical orchards, and homemade sweets. It was there, between two islands, two silences, that Didier imagined a tea that would retain a little of this magic.
Saint-Géran was born from this journey: a solar, enveloping infusion, which evokes hand-picked fruits, shared memories, and the promise of a generous and tender elsewhere, like an archipelago of sensations to be savored slowly.

Tea and food pairing
Saint-Géran pairs wonderfully with fruity sweets and cream-based desserts. It enhances a red fruit tart, a vanilla flan, or a soft almond cake. Its balance between liveliness and roundness also makes it an ideal companion for an elegant brunch, alongside raspberry jam scones or caramel French toast. It's an afternoon tea par excellence, designed to enhance sweet breaks.

Recipes and cocktails based on Saint Géran black tea
Saint-Géran brews well both hot and cold, and lends itself to numerous creations. Cold, it becomes a refined base for a homemade iced tea, served with fresh red fruits and a basil leaf. In a cocktail version, it pairs wonderfully with a dash of vanilla rum or black cherry syrup. It can also be transformed into a dessert granita, or a gourmet latte with a splash of plant-based milk and a hint of maple syrup.
