The demand for the best
We've chosen one of the most delicate rooibos varieties, sourced from a family farm nestled in the heart of the Cederberg Mountains. There, the rooibos needles are hand-harvested, sun-dried, and patiently turned using artisanal methods passed down through generations.
There are many qualities of rooibos, varying according to altitude, the fineness of the needles, the fermentation time, and the care taken in cutting. The one we have chosen here is an oxidized rooibos, certainly, but in a light and controlled manner. This partial fermentation gives it a luminous amber color, a supple texture, and above all, preserved freshness. This balanced profile, halfway between the vegetal of green rooibos and the woody roundness of red rooibos, blends ideally with the zesty notes of sweet orange, without weighing them down or masking them. A subtle alliance, designed to reveal the essence of the fruit while highlighting the delicacy of rooibos.
The union of South African terroir and Mediterranean fruit
To this base of great purity, we have combined an exceptional organic orange, grown in an orchard in Andalusia, near the village of Naranja Alta. It was during a spring trip that our flavorist discovered these orchards bathed in light, where the air is fragrant with fresh zest. Falling under the spell of this sun-drenched landscape, she brought back this sweet and lively orange, whose peel gives the rooibos a vibrant freshness and an inimitable signature.
