Red herbal tea with sweet aromas of orange
This red tea comes from Rooibos, a thorny shrub with thin stems and yellow flowers, growing wild in the Cederberg region of South Africa. The leaves are harvested between January and May. Organic orange peel gives it a very light touch of pleasant acidity.

The Demand for the Best
We have selected one of the most delicate rooibos varieties, sourced from a family farm nestled in the heart of the Cederberg Mountains. There, rooibos needles are hand-picked, sun-dried, and patiently turned using artisanal methods passed down through generations.
There are many qualities of rooibos, varying according to altitude, the fineness of the needles, fermentation time, and the care taken in cutting. The one we have chosen here is an oxidized rooibos, but in a light and controlled manner. This partial fermentation gives it a luminous amber color, a supple texture, and above all, preserved freshness. This balanced profile, halfway between the vegetal notes of green rooibos and the woody roundness of red rooibos, pairs ideally with the zesty notes of sweet orange, without overpowering or masking them. A subtle alliance, designed to reveal the essence of the fruit while highlighting the delicacy of the rooibos.
The Union of South African Terroir and Mediterranean Fruit
To this exceptionally pure base, we have married an outstanding organic orange, grown in an orchard in Andalusia, near the village of Naranja Alta. It was during a spring trip that our aromatics expert discovered these light-drenched orchards, where the air is fragrant with fresh zest. Captivated by this sun-drenched landscape, she brought back this sweet and vibrant orange, whose peels give the rooibos a vibrant freshness and an inimitable signature.
Rooibos and food pairings
Organic Orange Rooibos pairs wonderfully with citrus pastries: lemon cake, orange madeleines, yuzu tart, or light gingerbread. It also echoes dark chocolate desserts, revealing their bitterness by contrast, especially when accompanying an intense chocolate fondant or a rich ganache flavored with candied orange. Served iced, it complements fresh fruit salads or tangerine sorbets.
Recipes and cocktails with Organic Orange Rooibos
It can be the base for a homemade iced infusion, cold-brewed with orange slices and a few mint leaves. Or it can transform into a comforting latte, steeped in oat or rice milk, enhanced with a hint of cinnamon. For the more adventurous, it can even serve as the base for a sophisticated mocktail: steeped for a long time, then mixed with a dash of clementine juice and a tear of maple syrup, it becomes a healthy and sunny festive drink.
