Blue Mountain Black Tea - An Invitation to a Journey to the Heart of Fragrant Black Tea
In the refined world of tea, the art of blending combines tradition and creativity to deliver unique experiences. Blue Mountain embodies this quest for excellence with its delicious and fruity bouquet, combining strawberry, wild strawberry, and rhubarb with an exceptional black tea.

Let's start with the meticulous selection of a high-quality black tea, grown in the hills of Sri Lanka. Carefully harvested, the leaves are then withered, rolled, and oxidized to enhance their aromatic richness. The next essential step lies in the harmonious combination of ingredients. For Blue Mountain, we chose the sweet softness of strawberry, the slightly woody intensity of wild strawberry, and the subtle acidity of rhubarb. This delicate blend creates a subtle balance between freshness, intensity, and indulgence, offering an infusion with captivating and comforting aromas.

A Sensory Journey with Intense Flavors
It was during a trip to Australia that Didier, a passionate tea creator, found the inspiration to design Blue Mountain. Passing through the majestic Blue Mountains, west of Sydney, he was immediately captivated by the raw beauty of the landscape. The rugged cliffs, eucalyptus forests, and the light mist enveloping the peaks created a setting that was both soothing and mysterious.

One afternoon, while exploring Leura Mall Street, the main street of the charming village of Leura, Didier came across a shop that immediately caught his eye: the famous Candy Store. Behind its colorful windows, a profusion of vintage candies and artisanal sweets awakened a flood of memories. The sweet smell of candied strawberries, the delicious tartness of rhubarb candies, and the fruity aromas of confectionery reminded him of the sweets of his childhood.

It was at that precise moment that the idea germinated in his mind: why not transcribe these comforting flavors into a refined black tea? He wanted to capture this nostalgic sweetness and tangy touch in an infusion capable of transporting tea lovers on a unique sensory journey.

Back at the tea factory, Didier experimented with different blends until he found the perfect balance between strawberry, wild strawberry, and rhubarb. The strawberry brought a sweet and comforting roundness, the wild strawberry a slightly woody depth, and the rhubarb a refreshing liveliness. The pairing with a rich, malty black tea enhanced the overall effect, creating a generous and balanced cup.

Blue Mountain quickly won over tea lovers around the world. Its story, born from an inspiring walk in a small Australian village, added a touch of magic to every tasting.

Tea and food pairings
This fruity tea finds a lovely echo in homemade desserts: red berry shortbread, rhubarb financiers, strawberry cheesecake, or light clafoutis. It also pairs very well with apple-rhubarb compote or lightly toasted brioche bread. For a bold touch, pair it with a cream cheese, such as faisselle or mild goat cheese, whose neutrality will reveal the tea's full fruity palette.

Tea-based recipes and cocktails
In its iced form, Blue Mountain transforms into a refreshing and indulgent tea: infuse it cold, add a few slices of fresh strawberries and a dash of rhubarb syrup, and serve over ice. For a summer mocktail, mix the infusion with sparkling water, a squeeze of lime juice, and a few basil leaves. Or for a more adventurous twist, pair it with a floral gin and a dash of wild strawberry liqueur for a subtle and fruity cocktail.
