Green tea flavoured with spices

A variation of the classic black Chai tea, this one is made on a basis of Indian green tea. A slightly sweeter recipe, but still typical of this family of spicy Indian teas.
You can find a certain roundness in it, which can be reinforced by adding a drop of coriander honey for example.
Close your eyes ... India is coming at your tea time.

  • Ginger, cloves, turmeric, nutmeg, fennel, cardamom, cinnamon, chili powder

At Betjeman and Barton, we love listening as much as we love creating. When our customers speak to us, we listen carefully to their desires, and when they ask us to revisit our classics, we do so with care and conviction.
This is how Green Tea Chai was born: a lighter, more herbaceous interpretation of our emblematic Chai tea, designed to meet the growing enthusiasm for green teas.

A meaningful rarity
Chai teas made with green tea remain rare, and that is precisely what makes this creation so precious. At Betjeman and Barton, we love to go where tea is least expected, and to offer refined detours. This infusion embodies this philosophy: to offer a soothing, less tannic, yet equally profound alternative for those seeking pleasures aligned with their lifestyle.

A tea that comforts as much as it recenters
Beyond its assertive character, Green Tea Chai is also an everyday companion for those who seek to combine gustatory pleasure with self-care. Each ingredient has been chosen not only for its aromatic strength but also for its natural virtues.

  • Indian green tea, rich in antioxidants, helps boost natural defenses while stimulating mental clarity,
  • cardamom, digestive and refreshing, soothes the stomach and clears the mind,
  • ginger, tonic and warming, is known for its anti-inflammatory properties and its energizing effect on the body,
  • black pepper, in synergy with green tea, supports the absorption of active ingredients while warming from within,
  • saffron, rare and precious, acts like a burst of light: it is renowned for its gentle effect on mood and its ability to re-center emotions.

This tea thus embodies a form of powerful balance: a spicy infusion that captivates the senses while caring for the body. An expressive yet soothing ally, to be savored mindfully, for pleasure, for energy, and for inner harmony.

Tea and Food Pairing
Chai green tea pairs well with intuitive and warming cuisine. It enhances homemade gingerbread, brings out the sweetness of a ginger cake, or accompanies an exotic fruit salad with spicy notes. For savory dishes, it can be infused in a vegetable broth or added to a squash soup enhanced with coconut milk. Its warm yet smooth profile is welcome wherever you seek to awaken the senses without overwhelming them.
