- Flavoured black tea with cinnamon, chestnut and blood orange -

Blood orange and chestnut flavours with cinnamon oil create a dreamy and bucolic combination. Sunflower petals are scattered over this blend of China and Ceylon teas. You may enjoy the walk up to the evening...

  • Cinnamon, chestnut, blood orange

A Comforting Ritual

Less than two hours from Paris, nestled between golden forests and peaceful valleys, lies Montfaucon. This small village, with its brown roofs and ochre walls, seems suspended in time. It is here that an old house of blond stone, with faded green shutters, awakens each autumn in a hushed silence, complicit with the seasons.

Weekends here take the form of a slow ritual: wool sweaters, rain boots, impatient dogs rushing to attack the dead leaves. Walks always end by the fire, where we find the steaming teapot placed on the large farmhouse table. Familiar aromas already float through the room: cinnamon, warm wood, candied fruit. And outside, the wind hums against the windows.

Andrea's Saturdays

Every year, Andrea, our tea creator, returns to Montfaucon as the first frosts approach. He leaves the busy streets of the capital to rediscover what soothes and inspires him: the wooded paths, the ancient walls, the copper pans hanging in his kitchen, the books piled near the fireplace, and his dogs, always curled up, faithful guardians of tranquility.

Inside the house, time stretches. A rustic tart warms on the dresser, quince and orange preserves simmer over low heat. A basket overflows with dented apples, fresh walnuts, and chestnuts gathered the day before. It's this taste of the countryside and memory that Andrea wanted to capture in this cozy tea:
• the chestnut, which he slips into the embers;
• cinnamon, the perfect companion to his Saturday night rice pudding;
• blood orange, the first citrus fruit of winter that he squeezes in the early morning.

From this sweet nostalgia was born A Day in the Countryside: a tea like a refuge, a full and caressing liqueur, where the murmur of the fire, the sugar of the fruits and the warmth of a knit mingle.
