Tea of Love: A romance infused with the tropics
Some teas are born from meticulous blending, others from emotion. But there are even rarer ones, crafted in the shadow of a whispered, preciously guarded story. Thé des Amours belongs to this discreet lineage.

This delicate blend of Chinese green and black teas immediately seduces with its luminous color with golden highlights, evoking a ripe fruit. More robust than a green tea, but more tender than a black tea, this marriage of colors offers an ideal base to welcome a palette of exotic and captivating aromas. On the palate, the liquor is supple and vibrant, revealing a lively attack, tempered by a fruity and caressing roundness. The florality of jasmine blossoms alongside the pulpy notes of mango, pineapple and passion fruit, in a subtle balance between tropical gourmandize and vegetal elegance. A nuance of zesty orange energizes the whole, extending the aromatic harmony into a luminous and thirst-quenching finish.

There, at the end of the world
They are two lovers whose faces are familiar at Betjeman and Barton, and that is precisely why we choose to keep their names secret. What we can say is that they loved each other. And that they had just returned from a honeymoon in the Seychelles, their hearts still shimmering with light, their eyes full of horizons. On their last evening, on the intimate island of La Digue, they had settled down facing infinity, barefoot in the sand still warm from the day. A hostess with a sunny smile had handed them an amber cocktail with aromas of light-filled fruits and tropical flowers picked on the slopes of Mahé. A few jasmine petals floated, while the scents of mango, passion fruit, and pineapple rose, vibrant. Around them, the silence was no longer empty. It floated, dense and sweet, like a shared secret.

The echo of a moment, found in Paris
Back in Paris, still surrounded by salt and light, they crossed the hushed threshold of their favorite teahouse. There, a box caught their eye—gray, discreet, like a whispered secret. Thé des Amours, it read. They approached it, lifted the lid, and suddenly time folded: La Digue was reborn. The warm sand, the still lagoon, the sun-drenched fruits, the breath of jasmine… In a single breath, everything returned. Their last evening in the Seychelles infused the Parisian air with the sweetness of a memory too precious to be spoken aloud.

A tea, messenger from elsewhere
Today, Le Thé des Amours is whispered like a delicate declaration, a promise slipped between the leaves, in line with our creations with the sweet language of the heart, such as Parlez-moi d'Amour or C'est une belle histoire…

It is even said that its captivating notes have inspired the idea of more than one honeymoon... Because the evocative power of passion fruit, sun-drenched mango or intoxicatingly fragrant jasmine is such that it would arouse, even in the most Parisian among us, desires for kisses on the edge of a turquoise lagoon...
